This was an experiment brought about my necessity.
After severing a nerve in my left hand normal music making activities were impossible. What came next was recording 5 minutes of the Basimilus Iteritas Alter by Noise Engineering being randomly modulated and triggered then chopping it up into usable chunks I could mangle with a sampler "In the box".
This not only turned out to be a massively time consuming job, but also incredibly rewarding and inspiring. The tracks on this release are made with nothing but the sounds I got from that 5 minutes of recorded audio from 1 module of eurorack being heavily modulated. It's quite mind blowing when you think about it?
I have a sample pack with 100 samples on it from this session that I am trying to figure out how to package up for others to use. Watch this space and let me know if you're interested in the sounds.
